red sunflowers

We, and by saying we, I mean my DH, planted sunflowers this year. Behind the grotto you can see some yellow ones. But in another place we ended up with red sunflowers.

Have you ever seen red sunflowers? I never have. It was hard to get a picture of these because they were taller than I am. In the first picture you can also see some of the pink roses and our volunteer petunias.

I have my computer fixed. I couldn't post anything before. Don't know what was wrong, and don't really care as long as it works!! Thanks to Internet Solver in Des Moines, Iowa.

I can't wait to post pictures of Carson, who is now a year old. And lots of pictures of my flowers. And I think this calls for a giveaway. I'll be working on all those in a couple days. Right now I am doing "homework" for my work. Not too much fun.
