This mini quilt is about 14 X 10 inches. I started hand quilting it but there were so many seams that I took out the hand quilting and machine quilted it instead. I use it on top of my table.
I found this stand for an old Singer machine and it didn't have any top or machine with it so DH
had a friend of his make a wooden top for it and now I use it as a table.
I set my mini quilt on it with a couple jars of buttons ( I love buttons!) along with a little Jim Shore quilting angel. Sorry it's not a very good picture, I should have waited til the sun had gone down cos the backlighting is very bright.
Here it is from the side so you can see the size of it. I really like changing the quilting things I put on it. I should have taken a picture of my Christmas display, but didn't think of it soon enough.

It looks great. I think I'd start collecting sewing tables next if my husband would let me. I just love the look of them. :)

Cute mini quilt and love the stand..
Wonderful table. I have the treadle from a Singer industrial sewing machine so it's not as pretty as this one. Love your little mini and display.
Great mini quilt! Your table is awesome. I remember my Mother's treadle sewing machine and the black iron legs. Nola
You have a nice table. And that something I've meant to do. I purchased an old sewing machine in a cabinet. It has those beautiful black wrought-iron legs, and the machine isn't working. I've intended to have the machine removed, the legs cut down and a coffee table top put on it, but haven't done it. Thanks for the nice reminder. Yours looks so good with your little quilt and other odds and ends.
What a treasure in the sewing machine stand, maybe you'll find a machine someday to fit it. Good idea to use it as a table in the meantime. Love the little mini quilt and your display. I have a thing for buttons also.
The mini quilt is sweet Patty and love the table too. My dad did something similiar with one for mom. Love it!
