a long lost quilt

I made a baby quilt for the Quilts For Kids from a top I found in my stash. I had made the top years ago, actually forgotten about it. I was looking for some fabric I knew I had and at the same time I found this. I quilted it yesterday with a neutral backing that has little red hearts and tiny blue flowers in it, which worked out perfectly. I quilted it with wavy lines so it went fairly fast. I still need to wash it before I mail it. I love the old crinkly look you get from cotton batting after it's washed. Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are finally going to have nice weather (above freezing)! Plus we are going to our granddaughter's birthday party, so it should be a fun weekend for us!
